It does take a while, and it's all real. Not only are we alive, we're in this mad new world with different technology and

everything. So far, my biggest problem has been adjusting to staying in one place. I'm not used to having a safe bed to sleep in and a steady flow of income.

It's nice, but it's hard to shake the feeling that I should be moving before someone can stab me while I'm asleep.

[ let's get that out of the way right off the bat. he wasn't with the separatists or the rebellion because they paid him to be, though he started out in the separatists out of sheer necessity. the streets of fest were a hard life for a child his age; he's sure he would have done anything to survive at the time. ]
